Sizing Shells: 00, 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 & 8 (Including front straps on all sizes)
Mud Straps: XXS, XS, S, M, L, XL, XXL & XXXL
Bulb Straps: S, M & L
Bulb Strap Extender
How It Works
- Order your fitting kit.
- We send the sizing components to you.
- Try the shells and straps on freshly trimmed hooves.
- Determine the best combination of shell and strap sizes.
- Return the kit using the included prepaid courier label.
Important Information
- Hire period is 7 days from delivery.
- Includes one boot shell for fitting purposes.
- Sizing shells should only be used for fitting.
- Do not ride in the fitting shells.
- Please return the kit promptly and clean, so it remains available for other customers.
Freight & Pricing Update
Due to significant increases in nationwide courier costs, the fitting kit hire fee has increased to help cover the actual cost of sending the kit to you and providing a prepaid return courier label.
We do not profit from this service. The hire fee only covers freight.
We continually monitor freight pricing and are happy to:
- Provide custom freight quotes on request.
- Offer a partial refund or store credit if actual freight costs are significantly lower than expected.
- Discuss lower-cost options if you only need to try a small number of sizes rather than the full fitting kit.
If you think you may only need a couple of sizes, please contact us before ordering and we'll see if we can provide a more economical option.

Courier costs have increased significantly across New Zealand. The current hire fee helps cover the actual cost of sending the kit nationwide and providing prepaid return freight.
Do I get the hire fee refunded when I buy boots?
No. The hire fee covers freight, handling, administration, and the ongoing maintenance of the fitting kits.
Can I ride in the fitting shell?
No. The fitting shell is supplied for sizing purposes only and should not be ridden in.
Why is only one boot included?
Only one boot shell is required to accurately assess sizing and fit.
What if I only need to try one or two sizes?
Contact us before ordering. Depending on availability and freight requirements, we may be able to offer a more economical solution.
